Job summary

Birmingham City University is seeking an Admissions and Conversion Officer to join the Admissions Team, delivering high-quality services across the University.

You will process applications for undergraduate, postgraduate and franchise programmes, provide excellent customer service, and work with academic teams and the wider Marketing, Recruitment and Communications Department to ensure services are efficient, compliant, and aligned to University priorities.

• Providing excellent customer service and accurate decision making.

Responsibilities

• Processing new applications for home fee-paying applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Collaborative working with academic tutors and key stakeholders.
• Providing applicant support via email, phone and in-person.
• Representing the wider department during events.
• Accurate and efficient decision-making.
• Management and organisation of a significant workload.
• Working as an effective member of a team.
• Handling of competing priorities during busy periods.
• Experience of working in a Higher Education setting.
