Worldwide Flight Services, Inc. is seeking a Global Account Director for Specialized Services in the UK. The role is based in Hounslow and focuses on building strategic relationships with global freight forwarders to drive revenue growth.

You will develop customer development plans, work with the NPD team on specialized service offerings, and align internal resources to deliver win-win outcomes. This senior role reports to the Global Head of Strategic Accounts – Gateway Services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of global account management experience in the cargo handling/freight forwarding industry with a focus on air freight solutions.

Responsibilities

• Sell established specialized services to assigned Strategic Accounts and meet annual targets.
• Identify opportunities/gaps in the market and collaborate with NPD for ideation, pilots and scaling.
• Create and implement a multi-year Customer Development Plan for each account to maximize revenue.
• Conduct regular QBRs to strengthen partnerships and report on SLAs/KPIs.
• Coordinate with regional P&L owners and commercial teams to align approaches.
• Develop key commercial contacts in countries to join the extended account team.
• Communicate account strategies across Ops, IT, Finance and other functions.
• Maintain pipeline and account management in the CRM system.
• Act as escalation point for major issues and coordinate internal resolutions.
