Job summary

Europa Worldwide Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new Air & Sea freight opportunities across the UK. You will report to the Air & Sea Sales Manager and push growth, targets and revenue through proactive client acquisition and strategic outreach.

The role demands a proven B2B sales background in freight forwarding, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with teams. A valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B sales within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in Air & Sea sales.
• Strong hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and resilient in a competitive environment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Valid, clean driving license is a must.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business Wins: identify and secure new Air & Sea freight customers.
• Lead generation, prospecting and qualifying high-potential leads.
• Plan and execute sales activity through outbound calls, emails and face-to-face meetings.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of all sales activity, leads and opportunities.
• Attend meetings with prospective clients and internal stakeholders to align strategy.
• Develop knowledge of Europa’s Air & Sea freight solutions.
• Aim to exceed new business gross profit and activity targets.
• Provide regular performance updates to management.
• Represent Europa professionally and uphold core values.
