Job summary

DP World is seeking an experienced Southern Regional Manager to lead air freight growth across the Southern region, reporting to VP Freight Forwarding North Europe. Hybrid role based at Heathrow with biweekly travel to Basildon.

You will drive export growth, build scalable airfreight solutions and manage regional operations and performance, partnering with commercial and product teams to deliver revenue and service excellence.

Qualifications

• GCSE Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Degree in Logistics, International Trade or related discipline would be advantageous.
• BIFA IFF Apprenticeship or other freight forwarding qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and direction across the Southern region.
• Take responsibility for regional performance, service delivery and workforce planning.
• Ensure high service levels across all operational functions and commercial performance.
• Drive the Southern region's airfreight growth strategy and export initiatives.
• Lead onboarding of new airfreight customers and ensure smooth handovers to operations.
• Coach and develop regional teams and manage performance in line with policy.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
