Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a GIS Operator for the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA). Flexible/hybrid work from Peterborough office and home.

Role focuses on producing GIS outputs, applying SPA standards, and supporting data collection and analysis across a large-scale infrastructure programme. The ideal candidate has professional GIS experience, knowledge of GIS standards, and familiarity with ArcGIS Pro (v3.2+), Field Maps, Survey123, and data integration tools such as FME.

Qualifications

• Previous professional GIS experience.
• Delivery or ambition to deliver GIS solutions to large-scale infrastructure programmes of work.
• Understanding of GIS support for project deliverables (EIA submissions, design support, site team and construction management).
• Knowledge of GIS standards and information management principles and processes with some applications.
• Experience with GIS desktop software and databases, preferably ArcGIS Pro v3.2+.
• Mobile data collection: ESRI Field Maps and Survey123.
• Experience with FME software, ArcGIS API for Python and data integration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Production of high-quality GIS outputs (maps and analysis).
• Apply SPA GIS Standards, data management processes and procedures.
• Support the SPA GIS Manager/GIS Team and other disciplines to collect, collate, manage, analyse and share spatial data.
• Support the SPA GIS Manager/GIS Team to improve data management processes, automation and integration.
• Identify opportunities for automations and streamlining of GIS processes to benefit the SPA GIS team and wider project team.
