Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to support commercial activities across a major potable water transfer project. The role is hybrid, based at Worldwide House in Peterborough, and offers structured training and early project exposure.

You will work closely with delivery teams to produce robust estimates, monitor costs, and contribute to procurement strategies from day one.

Qualifications

A 2:2 degree or above in a related subject; engineering, management, cost discipline.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
A proactive, detail-driven approach and a willingness to learn.
Full UK driving licence (or working towards it).

Responsibilities

Assist with robust estimates aligned to scope, including risk allowances and data transfer to procurement system.
Collaborate with Lead QS, Procurement, Construction Manager and Project Manager on procurement strategy.
Work with site team, attend site, manage allowances and outputs, and handle change control.
Assist QS to produce accurate live forecasting aligned to programme and WBS.
Monitor costs against baseline, value of work done, and final outturn.
Keep records for audits and cost assurance.
