Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a German-speaking Solutions Architect to join the WWPS Greenfield team based in London. You will be the primary technical contact for German-speaking public sector customers, accelerating their cloud journey across the UK, Germany and international organizations.

The role partners with Account Executives to shape engagement strategies, design foundational cloud architectures, and build repeatable success plays.

Qualifications

• German language fluency required.
• Experience in software development or cloud computing.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical contact for German-speaking public sector customers across the UK, Germany and international organizations.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions in English and German to understand customer pain points and recommend AWS-based solutions.
• Partner with Account Executives on territory planning, account prioritization, and customer engagement strategies across the UK, Germany and international organizations.
• Design and present foundational cloud architectures aligned with customer business outcomes and public sector requirements in both markets.
• Build repeatable plays and enablement assets for common customer scenarios (cost optimization, compliance, legacy migration).
• Evangelize AWS technology through workshops, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical content in English and German.
