Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect in the United Kingdom to advocate for customers, drive improvements to the AWS platform, and help shape the Solutions Architecture organization.

You will document cloud-native reference architectures, contribute to best practices, and evangelise AWS technology through practical demonstrations and public speaking. Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Eligible and willing to undergo UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for customers to drive continual improvements to the AWS platform and inform the roadmap of AWS features and services.
• Help shape the Solutions Architecture organization by mentoring others and contributing to hiring and coaching.
• Document cloud-native reference architectures and evangelise AWS technology through workshops, meetups or public speaking.
