Job summary

ECU Testing Ltd is recruiting a Customer Sales Advisor who is fluent in German and English to support customers with technical advice and parts selection. The role sits between Nottingham and Derby, near Shipley Country Park, offering on-the-job training, great holiday entitlement, and a sales-driven environment.

You will handle calls, manage inquiries, upsell where appropriate, and liaise with our technical teams to ensure accurate solutions for customers and trade partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry (parts sales, service desk, or workshop background).
• Strong understanding of vehicle components, systems and fault symptoms.
• Clear communication of technical information to customers.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with customers and trade partners.
• Advise customers on suitable parts, services, and solutions.
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and services.
• Manage live chat and online enquiries.
• Create invoices, proformas, credit notes, and courier labels.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records.
• Act as the link between customers and internal technical teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Communicate with German-speaking and international customers.
