Amey Ltd is offering a 12-month Industry Placement in Geotechnical Engineering in Cardiff, starting September 2027. The role is based on a 40-hour week with hybrid attendance to offices and sites as required.

You will work on meaningful projects alongside industry experts, delivering desk studies, investigations and reports from day one. Applicants should be studying Civil/Geotechnical Engineering and hold a valid UK driving licence.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering / Geotechnical related degree.
• Holding a Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Produce desk studies to determine risk and suitable solutions.
• Plan and supervise ground investigations to inform geotechnical interventions.
• Carry out geotechnical asset inspections on major infrastructure in Rail and Highways sectors.
• Propose solutions to engineering problems and perform calculations and analysis.
• Prepare specifications, drawings and design reports.
• Deliver multidisciplinary schemes in collaboration with colleagues across Amey Consulting.
