Job summary

Severn Partnership Ltd seeks a Quality Assurance Lead to support Technical and Project Managers in delivering Geospatial and CAD data outputs to deadlines and quality standards.

You will monitor compliance, identify non-conformances, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of issues, while planning and scheduling team resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering Geospatial/CAD projects to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Experience applying quality assurance processes and coordinating technical teams and resources.
  • Strong understanding of Geospatial and CAD workflows, standards and software.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills with ability to prioritise and manage risk.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Project & Technical Managers to clarify project specifications and client requirements.
  • Identify risks and constraints and develop mitigations to project workflows.
  • Resolve equipment and software faults promptly with the geospatial team.
  • Report delivery risks and delays to Project Managers and drive resolution.
  • Schedule resources against project standards to meet deadlines.
  • Assess sub-contractors for competency and capacity to deliver on time.
  • Contribute to de-briefs by capturing lessons learned and promoting improvements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the geospatial team.
