Job summary

Morson Group is seeking a GIS Data Analyst in the UK to support governance and quality assurance of geospatial data within a large Common Data Environment (CDE) for a major infrastructure programme.

You will manage data exchanges, address data quality issues, develop workflows, and deliver training while collaborating with engineering and supplier teams to ensure timely, compliant geospatial data delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online/Portal and GIS data management tools.
• Experience working with Safe FME and data transformation workflows.
• Knowledge of GIS automation, scripting and data pipeline development.
• Proven experience in data quality assurance, validation and governance processes.
• Experience managing geospatial data throughout the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage GIS data exchanges from internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring data quality and compliance with established standards.
• Analyse and investigate data quality issues, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support the governance and maintenance of GIS data within the organisation’s Digital Engineering framework.
• Develop, deliver and support training programmes related to GIS standards, tools and processes.
• Create and maintain GIS data workflows, automations and transformation processes to improve efficiency and data interoperability.
• Work closely with engineering, project delivery and supplier teams to ensure accurate and timely geospatial data delivery.
• Contribute to the development of data standards, specifications and continuous improvement initiatives across the Digital Engineering function.
• Support data integration, visualisation and reporting activities to enable informed business decisions.
