Job summary

Athelstan School is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team. The post is 22.5 hours per week, across the school, with GTA duties in the morning and HLTA PPA cover for KS2 in the afternoons.

We value flexibility, resilience and a commitment to inclusion, supporting pupils including those with additional needs. Experience in a primary setting is preferred.

Athelstan School is looking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working, dedicated team. The post is 22.5 hours per week, working across the school, providing classroom support. The post will involve working as a GTA during the morning then 3 afternoons working as a HLTA providing PPA cover to KS2 classes.

We would like someone who is flexible, self-motivated, resilient and positively promotes inclusion, has high expectations for all and will be keen to set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils including those with additional needs. The successful candidate must have experience of working with children in a primary setting.
