Job summary

DS Smith in Kettering is seeking two General Operatives to support the team for 3 weeks, with shifts Monday to Wednesday from 6am to 6pm (36 hours). The role involves collecting pallets, maintaining a clean workspace, and following health and safety guidelines.

You will also perform quality checks, assist in the department as required, and may be asked to work extra days. The rate is £17.34 per hour, and a dedicated Randstad consultant will support you throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environment desirable.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform manual handling.
• Be flexible to work extra days if required.

Responsibilities

DS Smith in Kettering are currently looking for 2 Operatives to support the team for the next 3 weeks working 3 days per work with some flexibility to do more.

Role: General Operative
Location: DS Smith, Cromwell House, Altendiez Way, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5YZ
Rate: £17.34 per hour
Contract Length: 3 weeks (15th Nov)
Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 6am-6pm (36hrs)

Responsibilities:

• Collecting Pallets off the production line and stacking
• Keeping work area clean and tidy
• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times
• Quality checking product
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager

Essential requirements:

• Can do attitude
• Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment desirable
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time
• Able to conduct manual handling
• The flexibility to work extra days
