Job summary

DS Smith in Kettering is looking for 2 General Operatives to support the team for the next 3 weeks. Roles involve collecting cardboard sheets, maintaining clean work area, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Shift runs Monday-Wednesday, 6am-6pm (36 hours) with potential for extra days. Pay is £17.34 per hour. This temporary assignment is based at Cromwell House, Altendiez Way, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5YZ.

Qualifications

• Can do attitude, previous production experience desirable.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and manual handling.
• Willingness to work additional days as required.

Responsibilities

• Collect cardboard sheets off the line and palletise.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.
• Follow Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times.
• Quality checking the product.
• Complete any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager.

Role: General Operative

Location: DS Smith, Cromwell House, Altendiez Way, Burton Latimer, Kettering NN15 5YZ

Rate: £17.34 per hour

Contract Length: 3 weeks

Hours: Monday-Wednesday, 6am-6pm (36hrs)

Responsibilities

• Collecting sheets of cardboard off the line and putting them on a pallet
• Keeping work area clean and tidy
• Working in line with Health and Safety guidance and processes at all times
• Quality checking product
• Completing any other duties relevant to the department as requested by the shift manager

Essential requirements

• Can do attitude
• Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment desirable
• Comfortable being on foot for long periods of time
• Able to conduct manual handling
• The flexibility to work extra days
