Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a General Operative in NN14, Kettering. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with pay between £12.71 and £15.77 per hour in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will work across multiple departments, learning a range of manufacturing skills, with full training provided and long-term opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable carrying out repetitive, hands-on work.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work across different areas and duties as required.
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn new skills.
• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift.

• Trimming and finishing manufactured products to a high standard
• Carrying out fabrication and general production tasks
• Assembly of components and finished products
• Sewing and working with leather and other materials
• Operating various machinery following training and instructions
• Completing kitting and preparing components for production
• Inspecting leather and materials for quality and defects
• Carrying out spraying and finishing processes
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
• Following health & safety and quality procedures at all times

Shift Times: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00

The Role

We are currently recruiting for General Operatives to join a busy manufacturing environment in the Kettering area. This is a varied role where you will not be assigned to one specific area, giving you the opportunity to work across different departments and learn a range of manufacturing skills.

Duties will vary depending on business requirements and may include:
