We’re looking for a General Manager for The Acorn, Nuneaton. Salary up to £42,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

Located in the heart of Nuneaton, The Acorn is a thriving community pub and a true hub for local residents. Positioned on a busy retail park with a large adjacent car park, the pub benefits from excellent visibility and accessibility. With significant housing development taking place within walking distance, there is a fantastic opportunity to attract new guests and continue growing the business within an expanding community.

Trading at approximately £23,000 per week, The Acorn is an 80/20 wet-led business where creating memorable reasons to visit is key to success. From live entertainment and major sporting events to large-scale community festivals and special promotions, the pub has built a strong reputation as a destination venue. More recently, food sales have seen impressive growth following the appointment of an excellent Head Chef, providing a strong platform to further develop the food offer whilst maintaining the pub’s core wet-led identity.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious General Manager to take ownership of a high-volume community business, drive sales growth, engage with the local community, and build on the pub’s success through exceptional standards, innovative events, and outstanding guest experiences.
