Marston’s is seeking a General Manager for the Trigger Pond in Warrington. This high-volume community pub will be led by you, with accountability for running the site, growing sales, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

We're looking for a General Manager for a community pub. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Trigger Pond is a thriving, family-friendly pub located in the heart of Great Sankey, Warrington. Positioned within a busy residential community with excellent transport links, the pub benefits from a loyal local following and a diverse customer base, creating a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded General Manager.
This high-volume business currently delivers weekly sales of around £19,000, with a clear growth plan in place to increase this to £30,000 per week over the next five years. The successful candidate will inherit a pub with strong foundations and significant potential to expand its food, drink, community, and events offer. This growth opportunity aligns with site development ambitions identified in operational reviews for the pub.
Leading a large and established team, you'll be responsible for driving sales performance, building team capability, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and embedding the pub at the heart of the local community. You'll have the opportunity to shape the site's future, introduce new initiatives, and maximise the considerable opportunities available across food, drink, family occasions, and community-led events. Recent site plans have highlighted opportunities to grow trade through community events, family activities and enhanced guest engagement.
This is an ideal role for a proven General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about creating memorable experiences that keep guests coming back time and again.

Management accommodation is available in the form of 2 bedrooms private accommodation.
