Marston’s PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a pub team, drive guest experiences and support the General Manager in delivering strong commercial results.

You’ll motivate staff, manage shifts, and uphold the brand’s values while delivering memorable moments for guests. The Aspire programme offers progression toward a General Manager role, with broad development via app-based training and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in pub/brand environment leading a team.
• Ability to motivate staff and manage shifts.
• Strong commitment to guest experience and service.

Responsibilities

• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPIs.
• Inspire and motivate pub team on every shift.
• Be accountable for pub operation when deputising for the GM.
• Bring prior Assistant/Deputy Manager experience in a like-for-like/branded environment.

As an Assistant Manager you’ll:

Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around. With a passion for leading and motivating others, you’ll lead from the front to create memorable experiences that gets our guests coming back for more.
