Compass Group UK&I in Sunbury on Thames is seeking a General Manager to lead a £4.5m catering contract, overseeing a cafe, restaurant and three retail outlets. You will drive sales, manage ~70 staff, and maintain client relationships while ensuring top food quality and safety standards.

The role requires proven multi-site catering leadership, strong team development, and a passion for contemporary food experiences. Mon-Fri, 40 hours, salary £56,152 per year.

Formación

• Proven experience leading large, multi-site catering within a B&I, contract catering site.
• Experience managing large teams and developing senior leadership reports.
• Passionate about food and hospitality, with an interest in current trends and customer expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the overall delivery of a £4.5m catering contract, ensuring high performance.
• Manage and support 4 direct reports and a wider team of ~70 colleagues.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of café, restaurant and 3 retail outlets.
• Build and maintain client relationships, meet and exceed expectations.
• Own financial performance, budgets and targets achievement.
• Drive sales and identify opportunities to grow revenue across operations.
• Ensure exceptional food quality, service standards and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with culinary and ops teams to deliver fresh food offers.
• Monitor business performance and implement improvements as needed.
• Adhere to food safety, health & safety and company standards.
• Lead on-site planning and resource management for seamless service.
• Maintain strong on-site presence to support teams.
