Gather + Gather in Sunbury on Thames (TW16 7LN) is seeking a General Manager to lead the overall delivery of a large catering contract, overseeing a café, restaurant and three retail outlets with a team of around 70 colleagues. The role will drive client relationships, financial performance and revenue growth while maintaining exceptional food quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large, multi-site catering within a B&I, contract catering site.
• Experience managing large teams and developing senior leadership reports.
• Passionate about food and hospitality with knowledge of current trends and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall delivery of a £4.5m catering contract, ensuring high standards.
• Manage and support 4 direct reports and a wider team of ~70 colleagues.
• Oversee day-to-day operation of a cafe, restaurant and 3 retail outlets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, meeting and exceeding expectations.
• Take ownership of financial performance, budgets and targets.
• Drive sales and identify opportunities to grow revenue across all areas.
• Ensure exceptional food quality, service standards and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with culinary and operational teams to deliver a fresh, relevant food offer.
• Monitor business performance and implement improvements where needed.
• Lead on food safety, health & safety and company standards.
