Taste Hospitality Recruitment Limited is recruiting a General Manager for a highly regarded gastro pub in Buxton, set in the Peak District. Lead a quality-driven hospitality business with a strong reputation for food, service and guest experience.

You will oversee daily operations, drive performance, and work with ownership and senior leadership to sustain growth. This on-site role requires a proactive leader with excellent hospitality instincts and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operation.
• Lead, inspire, and develop front and back of house teams.
• Ensure exceptional guest service standards are maintained at all times.
• Drive revenue, profitability, and overall business performance.
• Manage staffing, rotas, recruitment, and training.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and key business metrics.
• Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

As General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business, leading from the front while ensuring exceptional standards are maintained throughout all areas of the operation.

You will work closely with the ownership and senior leadership team to continue building the pub’s reputation, drive commercial performance, and create an environment where both guests and staff thrive.
