Job summary

Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa, part of RAD Hotel Group, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead the hotel and teams. This hands-on role focuses on delivering RAD standards, managing operations, guest experience and performance across departments.

You will work closely with senior management and Head Office to drive improvements, oversee weddings/events, and provide leadership during renovation or investment projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a General Manager or senior hotel operations leader.
• Ability to oversee multiple hotel departments and drive performance.
• Proven leadership with developing teams and accountability.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and commercial results.
• Attention to detail and high personal standards.

Responsibilities

Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa is entering an exciting new chapter as the newest addition to RAD Hotel Group, and we're looking for an experiencedGeneral Manager to lead the hotel and its teams.

This is a hands-on General Manager role for someone who loves being in the operation, leading from the front and making sure standards are delivered every day.

Y'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the hotel, working closely with your management team, our Senior Management Team and Head Office support teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring it runs smoothly and consistently to RAD standards.
• Being visible and hands-on across the hotel, particularly during busy periods, weddings and events.
• Leading, developing and holding the management team accountable for their departments and performance.
• Driving high standards across accommodation, food & beverage, weddings, events, spa and guest services.
• Taking ownership of guest experience, feedback and online reviews.
• Managing staffing, labour and operational resources effectively.
• Working closely with the Director of Operations, Director of Weddings and Head Office to deliver Group objectives.
• Supporting the delivery of renovation, investment and improvement projects.
• Identifying opportunities to improve standards, efficiency, guest satisfaction and commercial performance.
• Getting involved when the operation needs you. Y'll won't be afraid to roll your sleeves up and lead from the front.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for acredible, energetic and hands-on hotel operatorwho knows what great hospitality looks like.

Y'll ideally have:

• Experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, Deputy GM or in a senior hotel operations role.
• Strong experience overseeing multiple hotel departments.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop people and hold teams accountable.
• A strong understanding of hotel operations and commercial performance.
• Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards.
• The confidence to make decisions, solve problems and challenge when standards aren't being met.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• The energy and resilience to thrive in a busy hotel environment.
