Job summary

JD Gyms seeks a diligent cleaner to maintain our high standards of hygiene across our gym facilities. You will follow Health and Safety policies, perform daily and periodic cleaning, and help deliver outstanding member service.

You should be reliable, detail‑oriented and able to work unsupervised, with good communication to colleagues and members. Training videos may be included as part of development.

Qualifications

• Hard worker with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role, ability to multitask and work unsupervised.
• Effective communication with members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and Company procedures.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to ensure safe equipment and facilities.
• Maintain highest standard of cleanliness throughout the gym.
• Ensure uniform standards are followed.
• Deliver outstanding member service.
• Participate in training videos to uphold group standards.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team. We need someone with meticulous cleaning standards that can balance interacting with our members whilst getting the job done.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.

• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.

• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.

• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.

• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.

• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.

• To always deliver outstanding member service.

• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.

• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
