Job summary

JD Gyms in Greater London is seeking a diligent cleaning operative to uphold meticulous cleanliness and safety across the gym environment. You will balance everyday duties with engaging members to deliver excellent service.

The role requires reliable, self-motivated work in a fast-paced fitness setting, with a focus on brand standards and safety checks. Training and ongoing support are provided to maintain premium facilities.

• Hardworking with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role with ability to multi-task and work unsupervised.
• Effective communication with members and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Maintain JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report defects to ensure building and equipment are safe to use.
• Ensure the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Maintain uniform standards.
• Deliver outstanding member service.
• Participate in colleague training videos to uphold standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team. We need someone with meticulous cleaning standards that can balance interacting with our members whilst getting the job done.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.
• To always deliver outstanding member service.
• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
