Job summary

JD Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our busy gym team. You will uphold high cleanliness standards, interact with members, and support a stylish, safe Fitness environment.

The role focuses on daily cleaning, safety checks, and adherence to Health and Safety policies, with attention to brand standards and outstanding member service.

Qualifications

• Hardworking with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Can demonstrate a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multi task & work unsupervised.
• Effective communication skills and approachable to members and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.
• To always deliver outstanding member service.
• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
