Job summary

JD Gyms is recruiting a cleanliness-focused team member for our rapidly expanding budget gym chain in the UK. You will balance interacting with members while performing systematic cleaning and safety checks to uphold top-class standards.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to health and safety policies, brand standards, and consistent service across all gym areas. Training videos may be used to sustain exceptional hygiene and service across the group.

Qualifications

• Hard working with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Can demonstrate a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multi task & work unsupervised.
• Effective communication skills and approachable to members and other staff.

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook.
• Adhere to and maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and equipment are safe to use.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness across the gym facility.
• Ensure uniform standards are followed by yourself.
• Deliver outstanding member service at all times.
• Participate in colleague training videos to support consistent standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties.

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
