Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc, the UK’s leading hire provider, is seeking a General Assistant in St Albans for Monday to Friday with flexible hours. The role offers a salary of £29,572 per annum pro rata and involves working across the depot, delivering equipment, helping with loading, stock control and serving customers at the hire desk.

You will need a driving licence, basic computer skills and strong communication. The position provides benefits including holiday, life assurance, pension and opportunities

Responsibilities

• Working across all depot areas, you will perform a busy but key role to keep the depot running smoothly.
• Deliveries and/or collections and assisting with vehicle loading/unloading.
• Electrical testing of equipment where applicable.
• Stock control and accuracy in the hire desk area.
• Serve customers on the hire desk and provide great service.

General Assistant - St Albans - Monday - Friday

Salary £29,572 per annum pro rata

Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly. On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot. This can include: making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of our equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.
