Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is hiring at our depot network with flexible hours and a strong focus on work‑life balance. You will perform deliveries and/or collections, assist with vehicle loading/unloading, test equipment, manage stock, and help customers at the hire desk.

The role emphasizes training, development, and progression within Speedy, in a safety‑driven, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required for depot duties.
• Basic computer skills to help with stock systems and ordering.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others in the team.
• Support the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries and/or collections for customers.
• Assist with vehicle loading/unloading and equipment handling.
• Carry out electrical testing of equipment when needed.
• Assist with stock control and ordering processes.
• Serve customers on the hire desk and provide good service.

Salary £29,572 per annum pro rata

Working in all areas of the depot, you will play a busy but key role in making sure our depot runs smoothly. On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working both independently and directly with other colleagues in any area of the depot. This can include: making deliveries and/or collections, assisting with vehicle loading/unloading, electrical testing of our equipment, stock control, or serving customers on the hire desk.

• Driving licence

• Strong communication skills both verbally & written
• Ability to adapt quickly to support others
