Job summary

JD Gyms in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our expanding gym team. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the facility while engaging with members and supporting overall gym operations.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work unsupervised. You will follow Health and Safety policies and brand standards, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for all members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Able to multitask and work unsupervised.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication and member-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and brand standards.
• Report defects to ensure the gym and equipment are safe.
• Deliver outstanding member service while maintaining standards.
• Participate in training videos and additional duties as required.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cleanliness and can play an integral part in our gym team. We need someone with meticulous cleaning standards that can balance interacting with our members whilst getting the job done.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.
• To always deliver outstanding member service.
• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.

Skills and Experience
