Job summary

Louth Academy invites applications for a GCSE Intervention Tutor on a permanent basis. The role focuses on planning and delivering small-group GCSE interventions, particularly in English and Mathematics, to support students ahead of their GCSEs.

The position is 37 hours per week (term time plus inset days, with some part-time consideration) with salary steps LGAT 7–LGAT 10, dependent on experience. DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering GCSE content in English and Mathematics.
• Ability to plan and deliver small-group intervention sessions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver GCSE English/Mathematics intervention sessions for identified students.
• Support students in preparation for GCSE examinations.
• Contribute to safeguarding practices and DBS-related pre-employment checks.
