Job summary

The Gateway Academy is seeking a flexible and hardworking part-time cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school. The role is 20 hours per week, term time only, with an additional 5 weeks of holiday working.

The position forms part of the GLC, a partnership of academies offering a supportive working environment. Salary is aligned with GLC Point 10 to Point 11, with actual pro‑rata figures for part‑time work.

Salary: GLC Point 10 24,733 to P11 £24,835 [Actual Pro Rata Salary: £12,829 - £13,424]

Contract: Permanent - Start Date 3rd November 2025

Working Pattern: 20 hours per week, term time only plus 5 weeks holiday working

Closing Date: 18th September 2026 at Midday
