Job summary

Great Bear in Sherburn-in-Elmet is hiring a Gatehouse and Despatch Clerk to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves ingating and out gating vehicles, processing inbound and outbound paperwork, and liaising with Operations Controllers to prepare bays.

Salary is £25,740 per annum with working hours of 2pm-10pm, over a 5 days in 7 schedule. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good IT skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receipting and despatching loads accurately and securely.
• Ingating and out gating vehicles on site.
• Liaise with Operations Controllers to allocate bays.
• Check and seal vehicles on exit with correct paperwork.
• Complete inbound/outbound paperwork promptly.
• Use inbound schedule to book deliveries into slots.
• Assist with site security checks and CCTV monitoring.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as required.
