Culina is seeking a Gatehouse and Despatch Clerk for our Contract Logistics division in the UK. This full-time, permanent role focuses on ingating and out-gating vehicles and ensuring accurate paperwork and timely loading and despatch.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm, with a salary of £25,740 per annum plus a £1,000 shift allowance. You will liaise with drivers, control bays, and maintain site security and records.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for accurate receipting and despatch.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a team player who can also work on own initiative.
• Good PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Strong problem solving and tenacity in gate operations.

Responsabilités

• Receipting and despatching loads in a timely and secure manner.
• Liaising with drivers at inbound/outbound gates.
• Coordinate with Operations to allocate bays for vehicles.
• Check and seal vehicles on exit, ensuring correct paperwork.
• Complete inbound/outbound paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Book deliveries into allocated slots using the inbound schedule.
• Use CCTV to maintain site security and assist with site checks.
• Support security checks/searches as required by site policy.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably required by the company.

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a a Gatehouse and Despatch on a full timepermanent basis.

Salary:£25,740 per annum, plus £1,000 shift allowance.

Working hours:Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm.

As a Gatehouse and Despatch Clerkyou will be responsible for effectively and accurately managing vehicles from receipt through to despatch. The primary purpose of this role is to ingate and out gate vehicles on site in a timely and secure manner.

Key Duties of aGatehouse and Despatch Clerk:

• Responsible for receipting and despatching of loads in a timely and secure manner to assist in shift efficiency whilst using correct operational processes and procedures.
• Dealing with drivers on both inbound and outbound gates.
• Liaise with the Operations Controllers in order for the warehouse to be prepared accordingly and allocate bays for the vehicle.
• Checking and sealing of vehicles on exiting the site ensuringcorrect paperworkfor the load.
• Completion of inbound and outbound paperwork in a correct and timely manner.
• Using the inbound schedule to book in deliveries to allocated slots.
• Using the CCTV to ensure site is secure.
• Assist in any security checks /searches on site.
