Job summary

Culina is recruiting a Gatehouse Administrator in our Contract Logistics division on a full-time permanent basis. Salary £27,206 per annum, working 4 on 4 off days from 6am to 6pm.

As Gatehouse Administrator you will accurately process the movement of customer products within the warehouse and across the network, pre-advise inbound loads and compile reports to support operations and delivery schedules. You will assist and communicate with the Shift Manager to resolve issues promptly and help

Qualifications

• Proficient in WMS and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with inbound/outbound processing.
• Experience in Warehousing/Transport/Logistics/3PL is preferred.
• Experience in Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory.
• Strong customer service background.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support warehouse operatives as required.
• Maintain communication with the Shift Manager and escalate issues promptly.
• Pre-allocate loads and input pre-advises for customer inbounds.
• Compile and send reports as required.
• Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Manage staff movement to maintain workflow.
• Assign Loading/Un-loading Bay based on needs.
• Update Electronic Schedule and Auto-store for accurate activity records.
• Investigate stock shortages on picks and monitor replenishments.
• Control equipment allocation.

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Gatehouse Administrator on a full time permanent basis.

Salary:£27,206 per annum.

Working hours:4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

The Gatehouse Administrator is responsible foraccurately processing the movement of all of our customer products within the warehouse and around the wider network. As a Gatehouse Administrator you are pivotal in order to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction with a high level of attention to detail.

Key Duties of aGatehouse Administrator:

• To assist and support the warehouse operatives when required.
• Maintain good communication with the Shift Manager and confident to escape issues in a timely manner.
• Pre-allocate loads and input pre-advises for customer inbounds.
• Compile and send reports as required.
• Run orders in line with instruction and scheduled dispatch times.
• Movement of staff across work areas to maintain correct flow of activities.
• Selecting Loading / Un-loading Bay based on current operational requirements.
• Updating the Electronic Schedule and Auto-store to maintain an accuraterepresentation of activities taking place on site.
• Carryout stock shortage investigations on picks and monitor replenishments.
• Control equipment allocation.

Qualifications

What you’ll need ...

• Proficient in the use of WMS and Microsoft Excel.
• Great communication skills both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work within a warehouse environment dealing with products in and out bound and returns when required.
• Ideally you will haveexperience within a Warehousing/Transport/Logistics/3PL background.
• Previous Goods In/Out, Stock Control or Inventory experience.
• Have a strong Customer Service background.
