Siemens Energy in Lincoln is seeking a motivated Technical Support Engineer to troubleshoot and support gas turbine systems worldwide. You will join the Technical Support Helpdesk, engage in on-site visits when needed, and collaborate with experienced engineers to deepen your expertise in turbine control systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem-solving, customer-focused service, and continuous knowledge sharing while supporting operations across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in engine systems.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership-supportive communication across diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line technical support to the Field Service team during unscheduled shutdowns and ensure timely workscopes.
• Troubleshoot core, package, and mechanical issues, applying approved design changes as needed.
• Offer 24-hour support via out-of-hours hotline when required to assist customers.
• Collaborate with Service Engineering to optimize installation, repair, commissioning and maintenance.
• Maintain a knowledge base with technical solutions and equipment details for continuous improvement.
