Siemens Energy in the United Kingdom seeks an on-site technical support engineer for gas turbine equipment, acting as the primary Siemens Energy contact for the customer and supporting daily operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and outage planning.

You will perform monthly health checks, review operating data, lead site teams, coordinate inspections between outages, and provide engineering guidance to maximize availability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in power plant operations.
• Proven track record in site leadership or Resident Engineer roles.
• Experience in outages planning and project delivery management.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-site technical support to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient gas turbine operation.
• Serve as the primary Siemens Energy contact for the customer during daily activities and outages.
• Perform monthly health checks and inspections of gas turbine equipment.
• Review operating data to support performance tracking and condition assessment.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and engage engineering support as needed.
• Oversee on-site spare parts inventory and ensure critical component availability.
• Lead and mentor operations and maintenance teams during plant activities.
• Plan and support special inspections between major outages.
• Participate in regular meetings with the customer and provide technical updates.
• Deliver expert advice to maximise availability and minimise downtime.
