Job summary

TXM Recruit are supporting one of the UK's leading emergency repair companies with a recruitment drive for Gas Repair Engineer – IND1. The role is based in Leicester and involves diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems in customer homes.

Salary is £46,250 with a guaranteed first-year bonus of £1,500. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime, and comes with a company van, tools, uniform, and strong training and progression opportunities.

Gas Repair Engineer – IND1

TXM Recruit are supporting one of the UKs leading emergency repair companies nationally on a large recruitment drive for new engineers.

The successful engineer will be working pre-planned jobs in customer homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems.

Salary – £46,250 + Bonus guaranteed in first year! (£1,500)

Location – Leicester

40 hours per week from Monday - Friday (annualized hours so some shorter in summer and some longer in winter)

Flexibility with weekends and evenings depending on the job.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care
