Job summary

TXM Recruit is recruiting a Gas Repair Engineer for a leading emergency repair company based in Blackburn. You will diagnose faults, repair boilers and heating systems, and perform servicing with strict safety checks.

The role offers a fixed salary of £46,250 plus a £1,500 first-year bonus, 40-hour weeks, and some overtime. Company van and tools are provided, with generous holiday and progression opportunities.

Gas Repair Engineer – IND1

TXM Recruit are supporting one of the UKs leading emergency repair companies nationally on a large recruitment drive for new engineers.

The successful engineer will be working pre-planned jobs in customer homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems.

Salary - £46,250 + Bonus guaranteed in first year! (£1,500)

Location – Blackburn

40 hours per week from Monday - Friday (annualized hours so some shorter in summer and some longer in winter)

Flexibility with weekends and evenings depending on the job.

Overtime YES

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care
