Job summary

TXM Recruit is supporting a leading UK emergency repair company in Bath recruiting Gas Repair Engineers. You will diagnose faults, repair and service gas boilers and central heating systems, complete safety checks, and manage jobs with professional customer service in customers’ homes.

Offering a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday with overtime and a guaranteed first-year bonus, you’ll have a company van, tools, and uniform provided, plus holiday allowance and progression opportunities.

• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service

Job description

Gas Repair Engineer – IND1

TXM Recruit are supporting one of the UKs leading emergency repair companies nationally on a large recruitment drive for new engineers.

The successful engineer will be working pre-planned jobs in customer homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems.

Salary - £46,250 + Bonus guaranteed in first year! (£1,500)

Location – Bath

40 hours per week from Monday - Friday (annualized hours so some shorter in summer and some longer in winter)

Flexibility with weekends and evenings depending on the job.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care
