Job summary

TXM Recruit is supporting a leading UK emergency repair company for a Gas Repair Engineer – IND1 in Birmingham. The successful candidate will diagnose and repair gas appliances and heating systems in customer homes, working pre-planned jobs. Salary £46,250 with a £1,500 first-year bonus. 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri with overtime; weekends/evenings possible. Company van, tools, uniform, and benefits provided.

Gas Repair Engineer – IND1

TXM Recruit are supporting one of the UKs leading emergency repair companies nationally on a large recruitment drive for new engineers.

The successful engineer will be working pre-planned jobs in customer homes diagnosing and repairing gas appliances and heating systems.

Salary - £46,250 + Bonus guaranteed in first year! (£1,500)

Location – Birmingham

40 hours per week from Monday - Friday (annualized hours so some shorter in summer and some longer in winter)

Flexibility with weekends and evenings depending on the job.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers' homes with professionalism and care
