Job summary

SGN is recruiting for a customer-facing role focused on identifying gas leaks and keeping customers safe. You will engage with the public, resolve issues with confidence, and operate across homes, businesses and outdoor sites.

Successful candidates will hold an ACS qualification (CCN1 or CESPI, MET1-4 preferred), have a full UK driving licence, and work a 24/7 rota with standby and overtime opportunities. Start date planned for October 2026 in various locations across the South East.

Responsibilities

• Identify gas leaks in homes, businesses, and outside to keep people safe
• Engage with customers confidently, listening and addressing service issues
• Resolve customer situations to deliver high-quality service
• Attend gas escapes within regulated deadlines with safe practices
• Ensure van is equipped and maintained for safety and efficiency
• Be part of 24/7 standby/on-call operations as required
