Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer in Rochdale to ensure heating and hot water systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably in customers’ homes. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, perform planned maintenance and deliver a high standard of workmanship with excellent customer service at every visit.

You will service a range of domestic properties across the region, maintain strong client and tenant communications, and complete required paperwork both electronically and

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 qualifications are essential.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Experience in domestic gas maintenance.
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.

Salary:

£35,875 - £45,000 (with £45,000 being the average of OTE inc. callout)

Rochdale covering OL10, OL11, OL12, OL13, OL14, OL15, OL16 areas

Monday to Friday with on-call requirements

Holiday entitlement

20 + Bank Holidays (increases with service)

About The Role

Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

What we’re looking for

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
