Job summary

Sureserve Compliance North West is seeking a qualified gas heating engineer to service and repair domestic heating systems across the region. You will diagnose faults, carry out planned maintenance, and deliver high workmanship and customer service at every visit.

Essential CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 qualifications, plus a valid UK driving licence and domestic gas experience. The role involves visiting customers, keeping accurate records, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) are essential.
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs, ensuring safety and reliability.
• Communicate updates and progress, and complete paperwork.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually
• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
