Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd in Derby is seeking a Gas Engineer to diagnose, repair, and service domestic gas heating systems and boilers within occupied homes. You will perform first-time fixes where possible and ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations, while delivering excellent customer service and accurate reporting.

Applicants should hold ACS Gas Qualifications, have proven domestic gas experience, strong diagnostic skills, a full UK driving licence, and superb communication.

• Proven experience with domestic gas breakdowns, fault finding and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic skills across a range of boiler manufacturers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary: £40,300

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas heating systems and boilers.
• Carry out first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Provide excellent customer service within occupied residential properties.
• Complete all job reports and paperwork accurately.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with Gas Safe regulations.

Package

• Basic Salary: £40,300 per annum.
• 40-hour working week.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (08:00-16:00) paid at time and a half in addition to salary.
• Sunday overtime paid at double time.
• Company van provided with private use available (subject to company policy).
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 25 days + bank holidays.
