Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Gas Engineer to diagnose and repair domestic gas heating systems in occupied properties around Leicester. You will perform first-time fixes where possible, ensure safety to Gas Safe standards, and complete all job reports accurately.

The role requires ACS Gas Qualifications, a clean UK driving licence, and strong customer service. The package includes a company van (private use), 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension scheme and life cover.

Qualifications

• ACS Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in domestic gas breakdowns, fault finding and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic skills across a range of boiler manufacturers.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Salary: £40,300

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all job reports and paperwork accurately.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with Gas Safe regulations.

Package

• Basic Salary: £40,300 per annum.
• 40-hour working week.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (08:00-16:00) paid at time and a half in addition to salary.
• Sunday overtime paid at double time.
• Company van provided with private use available (subject to company policy).
