Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Gas Engineer to diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas heating systems and boilers in occupied residential properties in Leicester. A valid ACS gas qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.

You will work a 40-hour week with a company van provided (private use allowed subject to policy). Overtime on Saturdays and Sundays is paid at enhanced rates, and the package includes pension, life cover, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• ACS Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent) required.
• Proven experience in domestic gas breakdowns, fault finding and repairs.
• Strong diagnostic skills across a range of boiler manufacturers.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Package

• Basic Salary: £40,300 per annum.
• 40-hour working week.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (08:00-16:00) paid at time and a half in addition to salary.
• Sunday overtime paid at double time.
• Company van provided with private use available (subject to company policy).
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to 25 days + bank holidays.
