Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor. The role covers the Cambridge area and focuses on servicing, fault finding and repairs in domestic social housing under a local authority contract.

You will perform Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s), diagnose faults on central heating systems, and respond to tenant and client needs with high levels of service. A full UK driving licence and ACS qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer.
• Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances with fault-finding/repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS check will be carried out on offer of employment

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Cambridge area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local authority contract.

The Role

• Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
• Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at hourly rate
• Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
• Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum (DOE)
• Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
