Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is recruiting a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Lincoln area. You will service, fault-find and repair domestic heating systems within social housing properties on a local authority contract.

Role involves Landlord Gas Safety Checks, adherence to Health & Safety laws, and delivering excellent customer service to tenants. A Full UK Driving Licence is required and a DBS check will be conducted on offer.

Qualifications

• Qualified gas/heating engineer with at least 2 years’ experience.
• ACS qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 are required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• DBS check will be carried out on offer of employment.

Responsibilities

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Lincoln area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local authority contract.

The Role:

• Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
• Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

The Package:

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at hourly rate
• Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
• Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 per annum (DOE)
• Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
