Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Norwich area. The role involves servicing, fault finding and repairs within domestic social housing on a housing association contract.

The successful candidate will perform CP12 landlord safety checks, work with tenants and clients, and ensure Health & Safety requirements are met, including risk assessments and COSHH records.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer.
• Experience servicing boilers and gas appliances with strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out on offer of employment).

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Norwich area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a housing association contract.

The Role:

• Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
• Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer
• Experience in servicing boilers, and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
• ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1
• Full UK Driving Licence

The Package:

• 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at hourly rate
• Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
• Salary: £41,000 - £43,000 per annum (DOE)
• Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer
